Our aim at West Kirby Primary School is to ensure that reading is fully integrated across the whole curriculum. Giving all the children as many opportunities to read as possible and supporting the development of reading for pleasure both inside and outside of our school environment.
We have created an Amazon Wish List for each key stage, using the books that we would like the children to have access to in their classrooms.
We also have a Curriculum Wish List, featuring books that are accessible for each key stage.
Additionally, we have a Black History Wish List. Black History month runs every October, we would really like to increase the books that we have in our school to support the learning that takes place around Black History.
Once a book has been purchased, it will disappear from the list.
