Lunch Menus

School Meals

Children may have a school meal or bring a packed lunch from home. Our school meals are home-made and prepared by our in-house Catering Team . Our school meals are popular with both pupils and staff, especially the weekly Roast Dinner!

All pupils in F2, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a school meal free of charge and we encourage parents to take up this offer.  We are able to offer our usual flexibility and are able to take orders for odd days.

Our current summer menus can be seen by clicking on the links below, we have three menus that run over a three week period. We will start with Week 1 on Monday 25th April. We adhere to the menus as closely as possible. However, please be aware that occasionally late deliveries mean that last minute changes have to be made.

Packed Lunches

As a health promoting school we ask that parents provide a healthy lunchbox and adhere to our Healthy Eating Policy, which can be viewed under the policies tab on our website.

We ask that lunchboxes contain: a sandwich/wrap/pasta, a piece of fruit, yogurt and a drink - please avoid fizzy drinks, sweets, crisps, nuts and chocolate bars.

*We are a NUT FREE School, please do not send your child to school with nut products. This includes Nutella items, cereal bars with nuts or other nut items. Some of our children have severe nut allergies and need to avoid being in contact with nuts as well as eating  any nut items. Our School kitchen team also ensure that all purchases are free from nuts.

If the children have water bottles in school during the day, these can be taken into the hall at lunch time and used as their lunchtime drink.

Fridays - Following a discussion with our School Council, on Fridays the children are allowed to have a chocolate coated item in their lunch box. The kitchen team will also serve chocolate items on a Friday e.g chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream and chocolate brownies.

Snacks & Drinks

A fruit snack is provided free of charge for all pupils up to the end of Key Stage 1. Key Stage 2 pupils can bring in their own healthy snack in to eat at break time.

Semi-skimmed milk is available to those children in EYFS during the school day and is available at lunchtime to the rest of the school.

All pupils are asked to bring a named transparent water bottle with a sports top to school each day. We encourage everyone to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
